In 2022, the NASA International Space Apps Challenge theme is: "Make Space" which has many meanings,
including the official one: "there's always space for one more".
Despite hackathon teams having a limit of 6 participants, the number of teams is unlimited. You can split a big group into small ones.
Furthermore, the space mentioned in the theme is related to skills. It doesn't matter your skills, career, or
abilities, there is space for any person such as a developer, scientist, artist, designer, storyteller,
maker, builder, technologist, or just a space enthusiast. You are invited too.
The theme has other definitions such as "make space solutions" or the acronym for "S.P.A.C.E." that stands for
- S: Safe, Solve
- P: Possibility, People
- A: Access, Appreciation
- C: Collaboration, Culture
- E: Equity, Empowerment
As the sideral space, ideas are infinite. Therefore, the Space Apps Global team (GO Team) asks what the meaning of this theme is to the community. So, to me, in a nutshell, it means "don't keep ideas in your mind, execute them over the hackathon."
Make space in your mind to receive more ideas.
Before my ambassador role, I cleaned my mind creating solutions like this
project. I'm not a rocket scientist but implemented these simple apps to participate in this party.
Let's engage too.
